| MEU supports JCC's "Kaam Chhodo Hartal" | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 16: The Municipal Employees Union (MEU-Ministerial) Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has announced its full support to tomorrow's "Kaam Chodo Hartal" call of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC). The pen down strike is being held to protest anti-employees attitude of State Govt which failed to implement the earlier agreements such as removal of anomalies of Clerical & other cadres, regularization of contractual/ adhoc / daily wagers besides enhancement in the retirement age.
The President of the Union Rohit George has appealed to all State Govt. employees and Public Sector employees to join the protest at Press Club.
George also warned the Govt to desist from the delay/betrayal tactics and to implement all the decisions and agreements earlier held with JCC leaders immediately without any further delay. |
