HC directs extension of LoC entry permit to PoK resident | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 16: In a petition filed by Amjid Hussain Shah Shah, son of Naseeb Hussain Shah of Bindi Gali, Mahajir Colony, in Fatehpur area of Kotli, PoK, who on March 5 last had come to visit his relatives at Mendhar in Poonch and from whom custom officials had recovered 10,500 fake Indian currency notes at Chakkan da Bagh, had sought extension in LoC entry permit. He was at present on bail. Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar of high court directed the respondents to consider the grant of extension in LoC entry permit in favour of the petitioner beyond April 16, 2012. It was also provided that on the expiry of LoC entry permit, the petitioner shall not be subjected to any penal or other consequence, which otherwise would ensue after the LoC entry permit expired.
