| YLS lambasts coalition for neglecting democratic institutions | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 16 : While addressing a mammoth public rally at Kathua National Secretary of Yuva Lok Shakati (YLS) Party, Rakesh Babli Lambasted on the NC-Congress coalition Government led by Omar Abdullah have failed to address the grievances and problems of the Jammu and Kashmir people.
He said militancy in J&K is deliberately and consciously encouraged by few opportunistic and self centered politicians which can be tackled easily by making democratic and free atmosphere for conducting the dialogue in which all the politicians including separatists should be included and for this union and state Govt have to take initiative.
He said the financial packages cannot play the best and effective role to solve the disputes in JK as well as entire India but this huge amount should be utilized for the upliftment and development of the downtrodden and underprivileged sections of the society.
Rakesh slammed ruling NC-Congress coalition saying the government had "eroded "democratic institutions in the state through its "gimmicks and misdeeds".
"The present NC-Congress regime, through its gimmicks and misdeeds, has eroded the sanctity and credibility of democratic institutions in the state," Babli said, Addressing at Kathua. He demanded implementation of various recommendations made by the Central government-appointed Rangarajan Committee in order to improve the economic viability of Jammu and Kashmir. |
