| `Omar uses AFSPA to hush up Yusuf killing' | | | Sumit Bhargav
RAJOURI, Apr 16: Taking a dig at Omar Abdullah led Government, PDP President; Mehbooba Mufti today said that important issue of AFSPA revocation has been used by Omar Abdullah to cover the controversy of death of NC worker, Yusuf Shah. She was speaking during a party rally held in the Dak bungalow here.
'AFSPA revocation is an important issue but Omar has used it just to put a blanket over the death of Yusuf Shah', she said.
Calling the incumbent dispensation a Government of scams, She said the NC leadership had the distinction of utilizing the money sent for cricket in Jammu Kashmir for their personal needs.
Mufti threatened agitation if the promised district level police recruitment was not carried out immediately. She urged the people in the rally to join PDP for good governance. "Only PDP can ensure basic amenities to the people", she assured.
Mehbooba hailed Atal Bihari Vajpayee. "He was a successful Prime Minister who managed to stabilize peace in our State", she said. |
