Employees hold demonstration

JAMMU, Apr 16: All Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation held a dharna today in their respective offices in Jammu division, in front of Divisional Comissioner office under the leadership of Joginder Paul, S Amrik Singh Sasan and Kuldeep Sharma. The dharna was held in support of their long pending genuine demands.
All speakers criticized the State Government for its callous and indifferent attitude towards PSU employees in State and urged upon Government to fulfill all just and genuine demands at earliest.
PSU leaders also fully supported Kaam Chhor Hartal as announced by JCC on April, 17, 2012. In addition, adhoc and Daily Wagers Union Srinagar led by Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Mohd Rafiq Hajam , Fayaz Ali Sofi and Gh Rasool Ganie also participated in Dharna and assured full support to Public Sector Federation. Prominent who attended the Dharna include Darshan Singh, Jagdish Sharma. Oranjan Bakshi, Rajesh Khajuria, Onkar Sharma, Raman Gupta, S Surjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, Dev Raj, C.L Raina, Pawan Sharma, Som Raj, Vinod Hayshia, Gurdeep Singh Chima, Gopal Sharma and Harjit Singh Sani.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Employees Union (Mini-sterial) Jammu Municipal Corporation fully support the one day call of Kaam Chodo Hartal on 17th April 2012 by JCC to protest against anti employees attitude of State Government by not implementing the earlier agreements such as anomalies of Clerical and other cadres, regularisation of contractual/adhoc / daily wagers, enhancement the retirement age etc.
The President of the Union, Rohit George has appealed to all State Government employees and Public Sector employees to join the protest at Press Club at 11:00 AM to mark their anguish against the polices of the State Government . Rohit also warned the government to desist from the betrayal tactics and to implement all the decisions and agreements earlier held with JCC leaders immediately without any further delay.
