BJP celebrates Delhi poll victory

Jammu, Apr 17 : BJP State unit celebrated party's thumping victory in Delhi Municipal elections, where the party has achieved majority in all the three Municipal Corporations of North Delhi, South Delhi and East Delhi.
Led by State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, the party activists distributed sweets and danced to drum beats amid slogans of BJP Zindabad, Bharat Mata ki Jai. Congratulating the party activists, Manhas said that it is the semi-final and an indication of the country-wide public mood against Congress and in favour of the BJP. The Congres stood totally exposed for its knee deep involvement in corrupition and its repeated attempts to shield the anti-national and corrupt elements. National Executive Member & Jammu East MLA Ashok Khajuria said this is a mesage of "Ulti Ginti" for Congress party which should now be ready to quit in regard of the wishes of the people across the country. He said that the political atmosphere in the country is in favour of a change at every level.Dr Jitendra Singh, National Executive Member & State Chief Spokesperson said that this is a vindication of BJP's campaign against corruprtion, scams and price rise suffered by the people under Congress regime.
He said that this is also a mandate against Congress party's anti-poor policies.State General Secretary Sat Sharma (C.A.) said that the party is reaching the masses across the state with a view to ensure their support and vote in the urban local bodies elections. Jammu district President Rajesh Gupta said that the party will register similar victory in the forthcoming elections of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Ashok Khajuria, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Bali Bhagat, Col. (Retd.) Uttam Singh, Suresh Jamwal, Sat Sharma, Usha Choudhary, Yudhvir Sethi, Purnima Sharma, Shilpi Verma, Nirmal Kamal, Balbir Ram, Ashwani Bali, Arun Chhibber, Rajesh Gupta and others celebrated victory.
