| Students rally organized for enrolment in government institutions | | | JAMMU, Apr 17: An impressive rally of students of government institutions of zone Satwari was organized today under the banner of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at Government High School, Barjala. The students rally, which was an important part of the Enrolment Drive, was flagged off by Sayed Murawwat Hussain Shah, I/c Zonal Education Officer Satwari.
The members of various Village Education Development Committees, Parents-Teachers Associations and Mothers-Teachers Associations of the zone Satwari also joined the students rally in large number and showed their concern for the bright future of new generation. The rally was attended by near about four hundred students of Govt Middle School Sure Chak, Govt Primary School Beli Charana, Govt Primary School Sure Chak, Govt Primary School Ganeshu Chak, Govt Primary School Karnaile Chak, Govt. Primary School Gujjar Basti Karnaile Chak, Govt. High School Barjala and students of adjoining villages. The masters, teachers and Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers of different schools of zone Satwari also participated in the rally. The students rally was an effort by the students, teachers and community members to increase the standard of education and enrolment in educational institutions run by the state government.
The rally, which was also aimed to highlight and publicize the achievements of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in Jammu and Kashmir State, decorated with banners of schools, coloured placards and posters in Hindi, English, Urdu and Dogri languages. The students and teachers also distributed the pamphlets in different languages to the people during rally. |
