| PDP Doda delegation calls on Mufti | | | Jammu, Apr 17: A delegation of PDP workers from Doda including those who recently joined the party led by advocate Imtiyaz Mir today met with party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. Among others advocate Ajay Thakur, advocate Kewal Manhas, Raiz Ahmed Mintoo, youth leader Wasim Bangroo, Mohammad Hanif and Raiz Pampore met the party leader and apprised him about the problems being faced by the people of Doda district. The party preparations for upcoming municipal elections and strategy there for were also discussed in the meeting. The party patron while welcoming the leaders reiterated his party's commitment to work for the upliftment of neglected areas including those of district Doda.
The delegation extended invitation to the party leader to visit Doda this summer to know about the problems of the area and to have an on spot assessment of the organizational matters. |
