JU-NSS team leaves for 'adventure camp'

Jammu , Apr 17: A contingent of 14 National Social Services (NSS) volunteers along with one Programme Officer of the University of Jammu today left for 10 days trekking and adventure camp at Arunachal trail-2, Tinsukhiya from April 20-28.
Dr Vishav Raksha, Programme Coordinator, NSS, University of Jammu flagged off the contingent at the Jammu Railway Station.
"These NSS volunteers were selected from different colleges of University of Jammu and would be trained in adventure sports, adventure trek and also in rescue operations during the said camp, spokesperson said. Statement said that these volunteers will be exposed to the culture of North East and they will have a cultural exchange of food, folk songs, folk dances and dress pattern.
