Mata Vaishno Devi Lok Seva Trust organizes integration program

Jammu , Apr 17: Mata Vaishno Devi Lok Seva Trust held the closing function of its Ekal abhiyaan training camp (Samanvay Vargh ) for three regions for J&K, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab today at Akhil Bharatiya Yog Sanasthan, Gole Gujral, Jammu. The Samanvay Varg started from April 01. In this samanvay varg, committee members from each state participated. J&K, Himachal and Punjab were represented by 48,77 and 31 members respectively.
A total of 8 sessions were conducted and in each session different subjects were taken up. It was like a refresher course and experts explained how to organize the public meetings for achieving the objectives of campaign (abhiyaan) for overall development of villages, education and inducing sanskar in children in the age group of 6-14 years , especially those children who can not go to school. Maintaining financial discipline and transperancy, proper coordination between whole time workers and samiti members were also discussed. In the evening of 15 &16 April Cultural programmes were organized by the participants of different states.
The closing function was addressed by Madvender Singh, All India Incharge of Ekal Abhiyaan. The Chief guest of the function was Rameshwar ji, North Zone Pracharak of RSS. The function started with lighting of lamp followed by Saraswati Vandna.
Madvender Singh, in his speech, said that the yojana started 23 years back with 40 schools with the blessings of Bho Rao Devras, the veteran Sangh ideologue. Presently there are 38111 (thirty eight thousand one hundred eleven) schools in whole of India. We are committed to start one lakh schools upto the conducting function of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand i.e. by end of March 2014.
The chief guest Rameshwar ji, zonal pracharak RSS, in his address said that the Ekal Abhiyaan is not known only in this country but it has gained the presence in other countries of world as well.
In Ekal Vidalaya selfless, dedicated and committed workers are working not for pay but for sewa. Comparing this movement with other educational institutions, he said this is a unique type of movement which can not be easily understood without working in it. He, in detail, explained the existance of Bharat Mata and Society for one's proper growth which work for the society.
Vote of thanks was presented by Veer Kumar Sharma, Office Incharge of Ekal Abhiyan J&K. He thanked the participants, the guests and the managing committee of yog sanasthan, who provided the place for this function.
The function was concluded by reciting of Shanti Path.
