| PHE-DCU to supprt tool down strike on April 20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Apr 18: PHE Driver & Cleaner Union (PHE-DCU) Jammu province in meeting held threadbare discussions regarding 'Kam Choro Hartal- Tool down strike' called on April 20.
The union has appealed to the Minister for PHE Irri and Flood Control Deptt. J&K Govt. Jammu for considering of all the demands which were put-forth by the PHE Workers welfare Association Jammu Province, Our Union supported the genuine PHE workers demands like as Regularization of Daily Rated Workers who have completed the Seven years of service after January, 1994, balance wages be paid to the all soils of workers @ Rs. 125/- per day, transfer of class IVth field workers. It was further decided that the widow of the CP Workers may be considered for engagement on humanitarian grounds against the deaths of their husbands. Among those who were present in the meeting included S Kulwant Singh, Swarn Singh, Kartar Chand, Surinder Kumar, Joginder Singh, Davinder Singh, Narinder Paul Singh & Ramesh Lal etc. |
