Lal Singh again goes all guns blazing | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 18: Congress Member Parliament (MP) Choudhary Lal Singh today went all guns blazing against the National Conference led Government. He did not leave out anyone and even went on to criticize Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He started by saying that no other leaders can match the charisma and personality of Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. Without referring to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah directly, Lal Singh said that 'a child cannot match intellect and wisdom of one of the country's tallest leader. He severely criticized constituency wise recruitment rally process initiated by the coalition Government. He said "SPOs, VDCs, DDCs have been engaged on constituency wise parameters. I am unable to understand this method of recruitment which has no logical justification. I request Ghulam Nabi Azad to begin the process of recruitment from Billawar and its adjoining areas." Lok Sabha member from Udhampur-Doda segment Choudhary Lal Singh's speech ruffled a few feathers in the party as he termed Azad as the only political personality capable of handling the sensitive State of Jammu and Kashmir. "Jahaz mein sawareiyan barabar honee chahiyein, doonoon taraf sye, ek side bhi zyada ho ya kam, to jahaz kye ulatney ka khatra rehta hai," said Singh. He requested Ghulam Nabi Azad to make him pilot of the Aeroplane so that he could take good care of it. |
