| Selection trials for STC Udhampur from April 24 | | | early times report
JAMMU, Apr 19: Sports Authority of India (SAI) run Sports Training Center (STC) at Udhampur is holding selection trials for picking up trainees in different disciplines. The three-day selection process shall start April 24 from 9 am onwards at training center. Young and upcoming sports persons shall be selected for both residential and day-boarding schemes of the STC in athletics, kabaddi and volleyball.
Players in the age groups of 14 to 19 years have been advised to bring with them original Date of Birth certificates and participation certificates.
Selected players as per the intake capacity of STC will be provided free boarding and lodging, full sports kits and medical facility as also admission to the school. Competition exposure shall also be provided to these upcoming players at the national and international level.
