JAMMU, Apr 19: Jammu wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKCA) today finalized a list of eight promising footballers for the forthcoming Santosh Trophy after a four-day long selection process conducted at GGM Science College ground, here.
Now, these selected players shall join their counterparts from Kashmir wing for a joint state level selection trial to be held at Srinagar. "All the eight boys shortlisted by three-member selection panel shall be leaving for Srinagar tomorrow to join those selected from Kashmir wing for final selection," informed resident secretary of JKFA Jammu wing, Surinder Singh Bunty.
These eight boys were shortlisted by selectors, Saudagar Matoo, Yusuf Don and Rajesh Kumar. Selected probable: Mohit Verma, Arun Nagyal, Tushar, Danial Burat, Arun Pal Singh, Anoos Gill, Rishi Verma and Vinay Sotra.
