| Kabaddi player selected as SPO in JKAP | | | early times report
JAMMU, Apr 19: An upcoming kabaddi player, Aman Singh of Akalpur in Jammu has been selected as SPO by the Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police (JKAP) under sports category.
Aman had been there in the India Camp at SAI Centre Gujarat on the basis of his performance in the Sub-junior and Junior national championship. Aman is a trainee of NIS qualified Ankush Gupta and State Sports Council coach, Ajay Gupta.
Meanwhile, president of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Anil Gupta and secretary, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta appreciated the feat of Aman Singh and asked him to work hard so as to find a permanent place in the J&K Police team.
Both these office bearers of the Association appealed the J&K Police to raise their women team also so that promising female players get absorbed. |
