| AISF Called on ADDC Doda | | | early times report
Doda, Apr 19: - A deputation of All India Students Federation (AISF) Unit GHSS Doda called on Additional Deputy Development Commissioner Doda Sh. Gulam Nabi Balwan and discussed the issue regarding the construction of Boys Hostel at Govt. Higher Secondary School (B) Doda which id a long and genuine demand of the Students. The Deputation was led by the Distt President of the Federation Sh. Mukesh K. Parihar. While taking to the Sh. Balwan Parihar said that this Hostel was constructed in 1969 with the help of Student's Labour but due to the poor response of the Administration this Hostel become un-inhabitable since 1990. "Then the Chief Minister of the State Sh. Gulam Nabi Azad in 2007 issued a sum of 82 lakh rupees and later the Education Deptt also added some amount to reconstruct the Hostel but still the Govt. has not constructed it" Said Parihar.
ADC Doda Sh. Gulam Nabi Balwan said that the Administration has already dismantled the Hostel and will be constructed soon. He also assured the Federation that the construction of the Hostel will be started soon as the funds are already available. Moreover the ADDC has also asked to the Chief Education Officer to check into the matter and immediate report. Others who include the deputation are Koshal Sharma Gen. Secretary, Neeraj Padha Press Secretary, Waqas Alam, Man-preet Singh, Vikram Singh, Dillawar Ahmed, Partap, Anchal Kumar, Rohit Sambyal, Mufad Ahmed and Arjun Singh. |
