| Final phase of agitation fromApr 20: PHEWWA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 19: All senior leaders of PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA) in a meeting held on Thursday discussed prospects of 24 hours Kaam Chhoro Hartal.
Spokespersons of association said that all the preparations regarding strike have been completed. He cautioned PHE striking workers to remain vigilant from rumors and pressure tactics of PHE administration and government if adopted.
He also appealed to workers not to afraid of Government tactics particularly ESMA if government announces same during ongoing strike. Provincial General Secretary Subhash Verma said that association has sought support to PHE Department fraternal unions. Adding that majority of unions, pro-employees union associations are also supporting their Kaam Chhoro Hartal on 20th April 2012.
He appealed to workers to observe complete strike from 20th April 2012. It was also informed that the final phase of agitation of PHE employees under the banner of PHEWWA will start from early morning of 20th April 2012 MLA Mohd Niaz Sharief has said that demands of PHE daily workers are genuine and government should take measure for its redressal at earliest, the hand out quoted. Prominent leaders who attended the meeting include Surinder Kumar, Vijay Singh, Ram Lubhaya, Ram Parkash, Manzoor Ali, Babu Singh, Chuni Lal, Romesh Singh, Ravi Kumar and Vijant Kumar. |
