CMO Dr Ajay Gupta while addressing the members in the meet urged upon the Chemist Association to help in curbing the free supply of such types of drugs in the market so that the problem related to female infanticide could be checked. Dr Gupta apprised the meeting that as per latest census the sex ratio in Kishtwar district is 938 females against 1000 males and added the data collected in last one year from various areas of Kishtwar district put the figure in the ratio of 876/1000 which according to experts is an alarming signal.
