Jammu, Apr 19: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers personsindulging in illegal trade of distillation of illicit liquor, the Kathua Police arrested a person at Lakhanpur with seven bottles of liquor restricted for the sale in Punjab only Police said that Police team from Police Station Lakhanpur apprehended one person namely Som Raj son Gain Chand caste Brahmin R/o Gandyal, Tehsil Kathua and recovered 7 bottles of illicit Liquor (for sale in Punjab only) while he was selling clandestinely. "A case FIR No. 29/2012 U/S 48-A Excise Act stands registered against the accused at Police Station Lakhanpur," police said. |
