In-House committee probe JKCA is an 'eye wash': BJP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 20: BJP State General Secretary Sat Sharma (C.A), while terming the inquiry by In- House- Committee of Jammu-Kashmir CricketAssociation (JKCA) as an eye wash, said that it is just an exercise aimed at escaping the wrath of the people. The real culprits can only be identified if the case is handed over to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Sat Sharma said that the JKCA is headed by the top politicians of ruling National Conference and nothing can be expected from the out come of in house committee investigations as it comprise of the departmental officials and politicians of the coalition elite, who can be influenced at any stage. Sat Sharma said that one cannot understand as to why the JKCA is hesitating in handing over the investigations to CBI. He also pointed towards the reports that the work on the world class cricket stadium in Jammu has been delayed due to the JKCA scam. He said it would be better if the JKCA instead of engaging its officials in In-House-Committee, should hand over the inquiry to CBI and utilize the services of its officials on construction of already approved but delayed international cricket stadium. |
