| Cop killed, other injured in Shopian | | | SRINAGAR, AUG 01, : A cop was killed while his colleague injured when militants opened fire at search party of Special Operation Group (SOG) in Shopian district of South Kashmir on Tuesday.
According to the reports reaching here, militants attacked a search party of SOG near Chidipora Shopian, killing a cop identified as Constable Sajjad Hussain Choudhary on spot while his colleague was critically injured. He was rushed to the hospital, sources said, adding that reinforcements had been rushed to the township to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
