The Republic Day was celebrated with pomp and show at Sopore Pattan, Sonawari, Uri, Bandipora, Grez and Tangmarg. On the occasion, the respective Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Tehsildars unfurled Tricolor and took salute at the march past comprising contingents of JKP, Fire Services and school children.
On these occasion, cultural programmes were presented by school children.
