| JPS lifts inter school debate competition | | | early times report JAMMU, Apr 21: Amongst the 17 prestigious schools of Jammu, Jodhamal Public School won the overall trophy in the Inter-School debate held at Banyan International. The debate had two categories and Jodhamal won the overall team trophy with participants from Class-VII and Class-X bagging most of the prizes. Mayank Mahajan and Vidushi Jamwal stood first in the senior category, both speaking for and against the motion "Freedom of expression is absolute," respectively. Harsimar Kaur of Class-VII got the 'Best Orator' in the junior category for speaking for the motion, "Energy Crisis is a serious threat". Manasvini Oswal was the second participant in the same category. Jodhamal School extends its heartiest congratulations to the winners. Principal, Trilok Singh Bist congratulated the staff and students in this inter school debate competition. While felicitating the students in a special welcome organized for the four students, he said that team work is the key to success and complimented the English department and the CCA Co-ordinator for putting up their best efforts in honing the skills of the students of Jodhamal Public School. |
