| KC Public School takes out rally to mark 'Earth Day' | | | early times report JAMMU, Apr 21: About 300 students and teachers of KC Public School Jammu took out an awareness rally through the streets of Jammu city on the eve of the World Earth Day that falls on April 22 every year. Objective of the rally was to awake people of Jammu about their responsibility towards the planet earth and its fragile environment especially in view of the threat of global warming and depletion of earth resources. The rally was flagged off by Dilbag Singh, IPS, the Inspector General of Police, Jammu, at 9.30 a.m. from the central park of the historical Mubarak Mandi Addressing the media persons on the occasion, Singh lauded the effort made by the children of KC Public School in creating awareness among the citizens of Jammu through their modest rally through the densely populated areas of the city. |
