Lecture, rally held on 'Save Earth' campaign | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 21: On the eve of World Earth day, Global Green Peace and Environmental Protection (GGPEP) in collaboration with Vigyan Parser Dept. of Science and technology, New Delhi organised Lecutre cum rally on topic "Save Earth" at a Village Rangpur Maulianina at Maharaja Suraj Mal Institute of Education and Research at Indo Pak Border of Suchetgarh Consistuency of Tehsil R.S. Pura, Jammu in which various VIPNET clubs like Maharaja Surajmal Bal Science club, Newton Science Club, Kalpana Chawal Science Club, Govt. Middle School Gouper Basti, Govt. Primary School Shamka, Govt. Middle School Bera, and Model Public School Shamka, local farmers, men, Women folk, students, teachers all took an active part in rally. While speaking Chief Guest Pawan Dev Singh Chib, Headmaster of govt. middle school Gouper Basti said that the earth is the only planet known to have life on it. It is believed that the first organism that lived in earth were unicellular that is they consisted of only a single cell. Devinder Choudhary while speaking said that we should remember that the resources available to us especially the natural resources are the product of millions of years. These resources need to be properly cared and used judiciously by all of us. In the end Anita Teacher of Model Public School, Samka said that the human beings are one of the living species of the earth. Our welfare depends on the will being of other living species and also on the non-living resources of the earth. Therefore the extent of utilization of various resources of the earth should to be under control. It is well said that the earth has sufficient to satisfy the needs of the people but not the greed of even one individual. |
