| Govt Hospital Sarwal organizes education prgramme | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 21: Healths related issues were discussed in a Continued Medical Education (CME) programme organized by Government Hospital Sarwal, here today. The Department Gynae and Obstetric conducted the programme through Dr Jyotsana Lamba and Dr Shafiqua both B-Grade Gynaecologist of the hospital. Dr Jyotsana Lamba gave an extensive presentation on topic 'Intra Uterine Growth Retardation (IUGR). She disclosed that IUGR previously known as intrauterine growth retardation, is a way to say that your baby is not as big as a normal sized baby for that portion of pregnancy. It is more common to have this happen towards the end of your pregnancy. Government Hospital Sarwal has also formed an academic club under the chairmanship of Medical Superintendent Dr Arun Sharma consisting of Dr Vijay Sabharwal A-Grade Ortho Specialist, Dr. Sanjeev Kapoor A-Grade Physician, Dr. A.K Bhardwaj A-Grade Pathologist, Dr Sham Gupta B-Grade Surgeon, Dr. K.K. Gupta B-Grade Physician, Dr.Farman Chowdhary Paeditriacian, Dr.Shafiqua and Dr Jyotsana Gynaecologists, Dr.Phunchak Narboo Dental Surgeon, Dr.Kamal Gandotra Anaesthetist, Dr.Dinesh Khajuria Radiologist and Dr. Rajiv Sharma ENT Specialist. Continued programmes and activities are organized including preventive education and checkups for general public and continued education for all levels of hospital employees, for which a chart of activities has been prepared and the academic club is continuously working for this. |
