DB instructs 'final selection of PLO/ ALRS' to keep abeyance

Srinagar, Apr 21: Division Bench of J&K High Court, Jammu comprising Justice Varinder Singh (Acting Chief Justice) and Hasnain Masoodi admitted the LP A against the Judgment of Single Judge and directed that final selection list of PLOt/ALRS if any shall be kept in abeyance, While arguing the case Senior Advocate S S Lehar alongwith Amit Gupta pointed out that 44 questions out of 120 were out of syllabus and so the selection is illegal in the eyes of law. Lehar said that Rule 12-A of the PSC with respect to the conduct of examinations itself says that if there are more than 10% questions were wrong then the whole exams is to be cancelled and when in this case what to talk of wrong questions 44 questions were out of syllabus. After hearing S.S.Lehar alongwith Amit Gupta and Senior Advocate for PSC D.C.Raina Sr Advocate alongwith FANatnoo and Gagan Basotra Addl Advocate General for GAD, the High Court directed that selection if any shall be kept in abeyance till further orders.
