Agri technocrats call off hunger strike after Gul's assurance

JAMMU, Apr 22 : Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul today assured the J&K Agricultural Technocrats Association that their all genuine demands would be redressed on priority. Advisor to Chief Minister Mubarak Gul said that Government under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to resolve all genuine demands of the Agricultural Technocrats regarding absorption in government jobs on seniority basis, enhancement in Stipend, and various other issues. Gul said this while interacting with the Agricultural Technocrats leadership who are on hunger strike. In response to the assurance by the Advisor to Chief Minister, the protestors called off their long hunger strike.
