| Celebration of Earth Day-2012 at KVET | | | | SRINAGAR, Apr 22: The Khushall Valley Educational Trust (KVET), Upper Ahmad Nagar in collaboration with National Society for Protection of Water Resources, Wetlands and Forests celebrated the Earth Day. In this connection, a function was held at Khushall Valley Educational Trust, Upper Ahmad Nagar in which students, senior citizens and NGOs participated. On the occasion, Chairman, National Society for Protection of Water Resources, Wetlands and Forests, Nazir Benazir appealed to sections of the society particularly students, NGOs, religious and social organization to play a positive role in the campaign for protection of Mother Earth being its custodians. Students on the occasion of the Earth Day highlighted the challenges which Mother Earth is facing and discussed measures to solve these and said protection Mother Earth is responsibility of each individual. The Principal of KVET, Mehraj-ud-Din conducted the proceeding of the celebration and also thanked the audience. |
