| Boxing Coaching Camp Concludes | | |

Poonch, Apr 23: To encourage younger generation to sports activities, a month long coaching camp in Hockey, Volleyball and Boxing, which was organized by the District Administration Poonch under the guidance of DDC Poonch Ajeet Kumar sahu, to promote sports activities concluded here today. In the concluding day of the camp, Boxing matches were held in different weights.
In Bantom Wight Ankit Sharma bt Saleem Khan, in Fly weight Nitin Plasar bt Tushar Khajuria and in Middle weight Nizam Ud Din bt Gulshan.
DDC Poonch Ajeet Kumar Sahu was the Chief Guest and MLA Haveli Aijaz Jan was the guest of honour.
I/C Sports Stadium Nirdosh Kumar, put forth various demands to District Administration for increasing Sports Infrastructure besides maintenance of stadium.
While appreciating the efforts of NIS Boxing Coach Mustaq Ahmed in popularizing the game of boxing, DDC Poonch Ajeet Kumar Sahu said, "I am really happy to see the response of players towards various games and its an encouraging sign for the future".
Referring to the demand of infrastructure from players, he said, "District Administration will fully cooperate in setting sports infrastructure in sports stadium Poonch and efforts are going on to build this sports stadium at par with stadium of Jammu".
Later DDC Poonch A.K Sahu and MLA Haveli Aijaz Jan distributed prizes among the winner and Runners up. |
