| J&K State voted best destination 2012 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 23 : The Jammu and Kashmir State has been voted best destination-emerging (India) for 2012 by the readers of Lonely Planet magazine India.
The readers from all over India voted for their favourites, through both on online and in the magazine polls .
Given their importance and scope, the awards will also be covered in the UK edition of Lonely Planet Magazine, informed the editor of the magazine Vardhan Kond vikar in his communication to Commissioner Secretary Tourism and Culture, Atal Dulloo here today. The Organization would likely to invite State Tourism functionaries to receive the award at grand awards ceremony on May 3, 2012 in Mumbai. |
