| SASB playing with sentiments of Hindus: SSH | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 23: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) has alleged that Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) under the patronage of Governor Jammu and Kashmir, NN Vohra is playing with the sentiments of Hindus by curtailing the Yatra Period. In a meeting of the SSH leaders, the State President, SSH Rajesh Kesri, said that the duty of the SASB is to provide better facilities for the pilgrims visiting Shri Amarnath Yatra but not to interfere in the religious affairs of Hindus.
"It is up to Hindu organizations to take a decision in this regard, so SASB must do its own work and has no need to decide about the time duration of this annual Yatra, he added.The organization had further urged upon the state governor to continue yatra with out any curtailment, so that more and more Hindu pilgrims must visit the state which in other way must enhance the tourist flow in our state. Among other participated in the meet were Vikrant Kapoor, Raj Kumar and others. |
