| Jagti Tenant Committee stages protest | | | Early times report
jammu, Apr 23 : Members and office bearers of Jagti Tenement Committee at Jagti Nagrota staged a protest under the presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the forum to raise various demands of the exiled community. Addressing protestors Pandita appealed the Government for immediate fulfilling of the genuine demands of the migrant community like Providing of a safe and secure place for rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit community at one place; providing one time compensation of Rs. 50.00 lakh to each migrant family, enhancement of cash assistance relief, providing employment to educated pandit migrant youth and advertising 500 posts for engagement of class IV and age relaxation for the educated Pandit migrant youth.
Among those who addressed included Vijay Kour Vice President, Rajinder Dhar, Youth president, B L Dhar, Chaman Lal Bhat, M L Akhoon, Roshan Lal Bhat, Makhan Lal Pandita, V K Bhan, Radha Krishan, Satish Suri, Satish Thusoo and others. |
