| Man commits suicide, girl dies in mishap in Jammu | | | early times report
Jammu, Apr 23: An old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself while a girl died in an accident in two separate incidents in this winter capital here. "A man identified as 75-year-old Nagar Mal hanged himself with the help of a cable wire below the bridge of River Tawi," police sources here said. They said the body was found hanging by the locals, who informed the police. "The body was shifted to his place while investigations under section 174 of CrPC has been initiated," police added. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old girl was crushed to death when a two-wheeler she was travelling was hit by a truck in Bishnah tehsil of city outskirts. |
