| Army organizes 'Mel Milap' meeting at Bhadarwah | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Apr 24: Amongst the various civic action initiatives planned by Army to achieve better bonding with the local administration and local populace, a Mel Milap was orga nised at village Sirtengal, Bhadarwah.
The objective of the meeting was to enhance coordination between the Army, police and civil administration, said defence spokesperson. He said during this Mel Milap emphasis was laid down on the security, law and order related aspects of the area and the suggestions for projects/programme to be undertaken by the Army under Op Sadhb havana in future. Sarpanches, Panc hyat members, VDC members, influential persons and youth participated in the camp. At the onset the Company Commander of the Army camp located at village Siteng aldwelled upon, the security and safety aspects of the villagers and prevalent law and order situation in present scenario. Helpline numbers were distributed to all the mem bers present.
Enquiries with regards to forthcoming TA Recruitment rally were also cleared.
The village representative appreciated efforts of the mel milap and praised 4RR located at Bhadar wah for the efforts towards security and civic actions for development of far flung villages. |
