Local demand Middle School at Dhundi

Paddar, Apr 24: The government claims to have provided primary and middle schools under SSA norms people from Dhundhi Paddar allege they are victim of government's step motherly treatment and demanded setting up of a middle school to improve basic education infra structure in the area . The residents of a remote and backward village Dhundi of Tehsil Padder in District Kishtwar rue the non-availability of middle school.
Addressing a gathering, Dheer Singh, Panch, Panchayat Halqa Gulabgarh said, "The Govt Primary School Dhundi established in 1968 and has at present about 100 students with feeding primary school at Sanyas while the locality lacks the Middle School. "The students of this old institution face hardships after passing 5th class and girl students are the worst sufferers, he added. Criticising the govt, Chemail Singh, the people fearing hilly terrain and long distance would pose danger to their wards do not send their wards to school located far from the area.
