Kalipadh, who is the son of Rasmani goes to Kolkatta for getting education so that he could become a lawyer and is able to trace out the will of his grandfather which went missing when he was a child. While Kalipadh wants to find the lost will, his father passes his time in boasting about the lost will and dreams of the day when it will be found. He keeps on telling the people as to how he lost his father's will that was stolen from the locked box. The step brother of Kalipadh's father has taken away the will and migrated to the city, leaving Kalipadh and his family in miserable conditions. How the family traces out the lost will and what it does with it when it finally chances upon it is what 'Rasmani Ka Beta' is all about.
