| KVK Reasi organizes veterinary camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 24: KVK Reasi organised an animal health check camp an animal health check. The said camp organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Reasi (SKUAST-Jammu) at village Chumbian of district Reasi.
A team of ten veterinary Scientists from SKUAST-J RS Pura along with scientists of KVK Reasi undertook complete animal health check up alongwith onspot diagnosis and treatment of livestock. More than 100 farmers attended this camp in which they were made aware about animal
heath and management of their live stock.
Dr Vikas Tandon programme coordinator KVK Reasi on this occasion spoke on importance of such camps in improving the Livestock status in the district. Dr Mandeep Singh Azad spoke on animal population in the area. A team of doctors comprising of Dr Sharad, Dr Seema, Dr Divedi
and Dr Sudhir alongwith interns undertook rendered their services in this camp.
KVK scientists Dr Banarsi Lal and Dr Lalit Upadhyay discussed the formation of farmer groups and also discussed various fodder availability practices among the growers round the year. |
