| Truck carrying 16 bovine animals seized | | | JAMMU, Apr 25: Foiling a bid to smuggle bovine animals, police today seized a truck at Baggu nullah near Batote after it was found loaded with 16 cows and oxen.
The truck driver was arrested in this connection. He was identified as Shabir Ahmad, son of Mohammad Syed Khan of Qazigund. Police had registered a case against him.
The truck (JK03/2061) was also seized, according to police sources. |
