Sharma reiterates commitment to work for traders, industrialists | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 26 : In a press release Y.V. Sharma President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu assured the industrialists and traders that he was committed to work whole heartedly for the solution of all their problems. Reacting after meeting a number of groups from various sections of trade and industry Sharma apprised them of his priorities. His focus was mainly on the all round development of Jammu especially on beautification, providing ultra-modern infrastructure for attracting tourists to the region and getting maximum benefits, concessions and incentives for trade and industry. Assuring the delegation from the traders running their business from residential colonies Sharma assured that he would make all out efforts to get the land in these colonies converted into mixed land use. During the course of his campaign Sharma interacted with the businessmen from Transport Nagar who placed before him various problems being faced by them especially the shabby condition of the road in and around Transport Nagar and the lack of other facilities. Sharma once again emphasized that he would continue to make special efforts to restore the dignity of trading and industrial communities so that they can get their grievances redressed with honour and respect. Sharma also assured the civil community of Jammu that he would request the Chairman of Amarnath Shrine Board to undertake the survey of the route in the month of may as per the assurance given in the sub committee that all out efforts would be made to pre-pone the Yatra if weather condition permits and speedy clearance of the route is achieved, for the safe journey of the pilgrims. Sharma thanked all the traders and industrialists who reposed their confidence in him and gave him rousing reception where ever he went during his campaign. |
