Unfriendly rainfall worries farmers

EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Apr 26: The unfriendly pattern of continuous rainfall from past about two weeks in Rajouri district has badly affected the standing crop in the area forcing farmers to pray for bright days for a healthy crop. This pattern of continuous rainfall has badly affected the present standing crop and is adding worried to the farming community. Farmers who were expecting few bright and sunny days for good production but this rainfall has dashed their hopes badly. Pertinent to mention here that in some areas the crops has got destroyed due to hailstorm while rainfall has compounded farmers' worries further. A farmer Girdhari Lal Sharma praying for the sunny days lamented that this repeated rainfall has badly effected standing crop and govt should pay due attention towards the issue.
