Rajesh wins inter collegiate debating contest | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Apr 27 : An inter collegiate debating contest on the topic "In The Opinion of This House The New Education Policy Has Streamlined The Indian Education System" was organized by Baba Farid College of Education, Kathua in the college. Subhash Gupta, Member Legislative Council graced the programme as chief guest while Aijaz Ahmad Patigaroo, the trustee of the college was the guest of honour. Dr. (Prof) Ram Murti Sharma, Director of the college presided over the function. Subhash Gupta ,MLC in his address appreciated the efforts of the college in organizing such type of functions and advised the students to participate in various co-curricular activities in order to maintain the educational ethics and update their information about the current education system. Dr. (prof) Ram Murti Sharma Director of the college stressed upon the student community to participate in such like programmes in their own interest in general and that of the national interest in particular. Earlier Principal of the college KK Shrama while welcoming the guests explained the technicalities and significance of the topic. Mementoes and certificates of the participation were awarded to the participants. Mementoes were presented to the dignitaries also. Rajesh Kumar Singh of Lal Bahadur College of Education secured the First position. Rakhi Bhardwaj of Cosmic College of Education secured the Second position. Isha Sharma of Baba Farid College of Education secured the Third position, while Reena Khajuria from Bharat College of Education got the consolation prize. The participants from Bhagat Kabir College of Education, Guru Teg Bahadur College of Education and TDS College of Education also participated in this contest. |
