| ‘Micky’ reviews functioning of PCC minority cell | | | JAMMU | JAN 27
The State level committee of PCC Minority Department in a meeting chaired by Arvinder Singh Micky, MLC and Chairman of the Minority Department discussed various issues relating to the Department and thanked the AICC president for constituting JKPCC Minority Department and also reviewed in functioning in the state.
In his address to the newly set up department, the Chairman apprised the members about the policies of the Congress High Command in respect of welfare of the minorities at the national and state level and urged them to carry forward these programs and policies at the grass roots level. He also advised them to visit the remote and far flung areas to access the problems confronting the people so that remedial measures are taken to overcome these at the earliest.
Micky also asked all the district functionaries to recommend names of dedicated workers and supporters from their respective areas for inclusion in the district level committees.
Meeting was among others attended by Moti Lal Koul, SPS Raina, Sanotsh Magotra, Abdullah Jan, Markes Gill, Mohammed Sayed Qureshi, Mohammed Afzal Khan, Ravinder Singh, Aradhna Andotra, Pradeep Jain, Chuni Lal Bhat, Ghulam Ahmed Lone, Surjit Singh Bakshi, Bikram Singh, Baljeet Singh Manhas, Anoop Singh and Amrit Lal.
