| Rathore Foundation organizes awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28 : Rathore Foundation in collaboration with JKWDC today organized an awareness generation camp , in Simbal Pind where more than 150 ladies participated. Speaking on the occassion the chairperson of the foundation highlighted the issues concerning the empowerment of women. She in her speech said that education ,economic independance, awareness of legal rights, Health and hygiene ,etc, are essential requisits of empowerment.
However she laid stress on the schemes being run by Women Development corporation. to raise the economic health of women. Raj from JKWDC gave a detailed account of loan scheme for enter preneurs. The Sarpanch of the area Ravinder Singh along with Panches supported and rendered the desired help. Krishna and S. Ramnik singh also spoke about othe social issues to bring a change in the mind set of the ladies. |
