| Student organizations demand JUET exam centre | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Apr 28: A conglomerate of various students' organizations of Kishtwar today demanded for a Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET) examination centre at Kishtwar University Campus.Criticizing Jammu university authorities, NSUI state secretary Wassim Saroori said "We face difficulties to go all the way to other centres to appear in JUET examination, a hurdle which has to be crossed for getting admissions in University and its Campuses."
He added that Kishtwar, despite being one of the educational hubs of the district having students from Paddar, Chatroo Marwah-Warwan and Kishtwar still lack such facility.Flaying the lackadaisical attitude of Universitiy authorities, Charanjeet Thakur, President, Paddar Students Union said "The candidates belonging to Kishtwar district who have applied for the Jammu University Entrance Test find it impossible to appear because of expenses of journey, boarding and lodging". |
