| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 10 bovine rescued | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: Ramban Police seized a truck carrying bovines animals towards valley and rescued 10 Bovine when two bovine smugglers were arrested at Patnitop Batote in Ramban.
"The accused have been identified as Mohd Shaban son of Mohd Ismail Shala of Qazi Mohalla, Anantnag and Aajaz Ahmed son of Ali Mohd Itoo of Charat, Kulgam, police said.
Police said that during checking, naka party intercepted one truck bearing Registration Number JK-03A/5505 which was illegally transporting from Jammu to Kashmir Valley. "The driver of the truck and his associate has been arrested and the truck along with 10 bovine have been seized, police added. In this connection a Case FIR No. 36/2012 u/s 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Batote. Further investigation is going on. |
