| Behal condemns killing of youth | | |

Devinder Singh Behal, a senior leader of Awami Action Committee, a unit of Hurriyat Conference, has strongly condemned the killing of a 21- year innocent youth Mohammed Maqbool Mir of Nowpora in Srinagar.
In a statement issured here today, Behel said that the deceased was a labour and busy in his work near Budshah Bridge, when he was killed and maintained that he had no relation or association with any militant groups operating in the state.
Asking the Centre to stop killings of innocent people, the AAC leader demanded stern action against those persons involved in such inhuman acts. ‘If the Centre is sincere to carry forward the peace process, it should first put a halt to the Human Rights violations’, he maintained.
