| Obeisance paid to Guru Gorkh Nath Ji | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 29: A large number of resident and political leaders paid obeisance at the temple of Guru Gorkh Nath Ji at Gorkh Nagar Jammu in a religious ceremony organized here today. Rattan Lal Gupta provincial president J&K National Conference Jammu Province along with Pardeep Bali and Jugal Mahajan visited Gorkha Nagar and paid obeisance to Baba Gorkh Nath ji on the foundation day of Gorkha Nagar near Bahu- Fort Jammu. The occasion was organized by Gorkha Sabha President Babita Rana to celebrate the foundation day. Rattan Lal Gupta addressed the gathering andf said that Baba Gorkha Nath ji's contributions for humanity and his teachings will be remembered for immemorial times.. "The Gorkha community is a brave, honest and upright community which has served the nation in various capacities shoulder to shoulder with other communities, speakers said. On this occasion community langer was also served to the participants. Large number of people from adjoining areas also paid obeisance and took part in the religious ceremonies. Pertinent to mention that Babita Rana President J&K Gorkha Sabha & Gorkha Community organized Murtee Sthapna (idol Instyallation) & at Guru Gorakh Nath Ji Temple at Gorkh Nagar Jammu on April 22 to 24 and special prayers were held from April 27 to 29 |
