early times report
Jammu, Apr 29: Rama Bhai, one of the blessed disciple of global Sant Asaram Ji Bapu delivered discourses on Srimad Bhagwad Gita here at Bhagwati Nagar Ashram today. Beginning the Satsang with Guru puja, he said, "Every kind of anxiety, soroow and obstacles are solved by sitting in the tutelage of Gurudev". Quoting Arjuna and Daryodhana he narrated that once both had the opportunity to ask for same boon to Lord Krishna. Arjuna- a Yodha of great intellect sat towards the tutelage of Lord Krishna whereas Daryodhana (egoist) stood towards the head of the Lord. Lord Krishna first of all, asked Daryodhana to ask for what he aspires. Daryo dhan without losing any moment asked for large battalion ammunition etc. Whereas Arjuna when asked to open his mind, he merely begged for Lord's presence with him in the war; adding a haughty and egoist person cannot think wisely his decisions always hath a fall. Similarly those who find grace of their Sadguru need not ask for any other boon. All their necessities are fulfilled without desiring anything. A true devotee attains the desireless state; for him, pain and pleasure become equivocal. He added such a state is attained only by those whose goal is God-realisation. While eating, drinking, talking, sleeping, conscious and unconscious, opening and closing eye brouts, sighing, his mind is deeply established in God. Just as to many rivers and stream lets on coming in contact cannot perturb the calmness of the sea. Similar is the state of a true Sadhak. Highlighting the significance of service (Seva) he disclosed that Guru seva is the greatest accomplishment of one's life. Guruseva is also attained with Guru Kripa and Guru's inspiration. Some people do Seva not for the sake of Seva merely for showmanship, such a seva engenders no fruit. Even Lord Krishna used to pick up the dirty dishes of Sadhu Sants for the sake of Seva. Lord Rama used to serve the feet of Guru Vashishata, Pujya Bapuji used to serve Swami Leela Shah Ji. Ramabhai ji disclosed that nothing material/ immaterial can please Gurudev as Seva.
On this occasion with the directive of Pujya Bapu, Tiphans (Hot Boxes) were distributed among hundreds of labourers free of cost as a gift of the Avtaran Diwas which was celebrated as "Seva Day" through out India and abroad. It is pertinent to mention here that with the blessings of Pujya Paramlok Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu a free "Panch Karam" (Ayurvedic) Camp had been launched here today for the service of sick, invalid and people with fatal diseases like kidney failure Liver failure, obesity, diabities, Depression, Migrane Heart attack and many other diseases. Every fortnight this free camp would provide service to the needy at Bhagwati Nagar, Ashram Hundreds of sick and invalid availed of the opportunity today in this Camp. Langer Prasad was served after the Satsang.
