Jammu, Apr 29: Jammu , April 29 In what can take a swift turn in investigation into Kishtwar Sex Scandal and expedite probe into allegations involving the name of high profile bureaucrat the , police has constituted a special team which will be dispatched to Kishtwar in a day or two . Even as the man hunt continues to arrest the 'DC' whose name figured in the sex racket , Joint raids in coordination with Domana Police are likely to be conducted soon at the Channi Himmat based residence of said 'DC', claimed Intelligence agencies .
Meanwhile when contacted SP Kishtwar Bhem Sen Tuti confirming the reports said that action against the high profiled 'babu' whose name has been figured out in sex scandal likely be taken very soon.
Worthwhile to mention here that directions were given by the bosses of intelligence agencies to subordinate staff for identification of the DC rank person and submitted the report accordingly following Early Times carried reports in its series of previous edition.
The name of DC rank person surfaced when a minor girl from Kishtwar recorded her statement before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kishtwar alleging she was taken twice to the residence of a DC at Channi Himmat Sector 7 Extension where the latter committed rape on her though the victim did not mention the name of the accused Deputy Commissioner.
If the sources are to be believed, during investigation intelligence agencies forwarded the name of DC rank person indicated by the victim to higher ups. As per sources in agencies the said person has served with Excise Department. However reports said that his residence is found locked and the said allegedly involved person has flown to America to his relatives to evade action since his name surfaced in the said sex scandal. Meanwhile victim is also being taken to Jammu for identification of the photograph of the accused DC and his residence, sources said. Pertinent to mention here a case against FIR U/s 363 Crpc has already been registered with Jammu Police besides FIR by Kishtwar police under section 376 CrpC.
The teenage girl from Kishtwar has alleged she was forced into sex trade by a woman presently residing at Durga Nagar Jammu. The victim has alleged that she was repeatedly raped by an officer of Deputy Commissioner rank at his Channi Himmat Jammu residence during her captivity with alleged kingpin of sex racket Santosha Devi, wife of Krishan Lal of Hurna Drubel in Chatroo Tehsil of District Kishtwar at present residing at Durga Nagar Jammu. The statement of the victim comes in wake of the missing FIR registered by the cousin of the victim.
The victim in her statement recorded under Sec 164 stated the kingpin Santosha took her at the residence of a Deputy Commissioner at Channi Jammu where Ashwani Kumar working as a Chowkidar committed rape on her. After busting sex scandal and registering of case Domana police produces the Challan in court of law against 10 accused included Santosha Devi resident of Durga Nagar, Saroj Devi sister of Santosha Devi, Surjeet Singh @ Sonu, Deepak Gupta, Raman Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Bupinder Singh alias Titu, Pardeep Lohria, Ashish Abrol and Ashwani Kumar who is declared absconder for whom prayer was made before the Court for issuance General Arrest Warrants under 512 CrPC. |
